Hi, I’m Kayte! Personal trainer on the Upper East Side of Manhattan and Long Island, NY (Port Washington, Great Neck and Roslyn area). I offer private fitness training, dual/group sessions, online coaching/virtual training, program design, boot camps, competition-prep and nutrition counseling. I specialize in weight-loss, pre/post natal exercise, adolescent fitness, toning/sculpting and rehabilitation.
Fitness has always been a passion of mine and has played a huge role in my life, but it wasn’t until 2012 that I realized how much I enjoyed helping others discover their own passion for health & fitness.
I grew up as a gymnast and cheerleader in Pittsburgh, PA and went on to cheer for the Fighting Blue Hens at the University of Delaware. I earned my degree in Accounting, then my CPA and started working in the corporate world in NYC after graduation in 2006. I continued cheerleading for the NBA and began competing in Fitness where I earned my Pro-Card in 2013. After 6 years in an office, I decided to take the plunge and become a personal trainer at Equinox, which was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made! I learned so much during my time with the company and decided to go out on my own to focus on private clients after 6 great years at Equinox.
I moved my family and my business to Long Island after 10 years in Manhattan but continue to train some of my NYC clients on Weekends as well as virtually.
I am a proud mom of 3 and pursuing my masters degree in physical education at Hofstra University. After having my first child, it was clear how important exercise and proper nutrition was during pregnancy and after delivery. I have since helped many moms have healthier pregnancies and shed the weight after their babies were born.
